This Workplace Violence and Bullying Policy states the aim, rules and responsibilities of your organisation regarding workplace bullying and violence. This includes degrading behaviour, verbal abuse, threats and physical violence.
Workplace bullying and violence is not only something to deal with within your own organisation as these acts can be directed at your employees from suppliers, clients, patients and the general public.
It is important to clearly state the appropriate behaviour within your organisation and the course of action your workers can take when faced with being bullied or threatened, and the course of action management will take towards anyone committing an act of violence or bullying.
